
Estherika Essel
Ms. Essel is the programme assistant in charge of Communications and Advocacy at WiLDAF Ghana, where she oversees projects such as; Property Rights of Spouses Bill projects (Advocacy), African women's Decade, Data Collection, among others. She is an ambitious and dynamic team player with a comprehensive skill in organization and a keen interest in researching committed toward hard work and creativity in problem solving
Trainings & Workshops :
Has undertaken a number of trainings organized by both local and International Institutions such as The Ark Foundation Ghana (Women Human Rights Leadership Institute), The Gender Studies and Human Rights Documentation Centre, (Gender and HIV / AIDS ), Advocacy, Dignity International Human Rights Based Developments- Malaysia , Womankind Worldwide (Organizational Child Protection) among others.
Volunteer Work:
Ms Essels passion for teaching had her volunteering at the Talenta Academy (Odorkor) in September 2003. Since then she has volunteered at the CAN 2008 Tournaments in Ghana, and the CODEO election observation in 1994 (Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency).
Qualification
Ms. Essel holds a Certificate in Foundation in Web Designing from the Ghana -India Kofi Annan Center oF Excellence in ICT, and a BA Hons in Sociology (Major) with Philosophy (Minor) from the University of Ghana.
